Our mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

We’re an inclusive organization of people committed to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting health and wellness and encouraging social responsibility. Our mission defines us, and strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side by side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone—regardless of age, income or background—has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

Our Christian Principles

Faith and prayer have been at the heart of the YMCA's mission since its founding in 1844. The Rowan-Cabarrus YMCA is dedicated to loving, serving, and caring for every person who walks through our door in a Christ-like manner.

Through multiple church partnerships, resident chaplains, Bible studies and prayer groups, CREATION Health classes and more, we offer countless opportunities for our members and the community at-large to strengthen their spirits at the Y. Please contact your local branch for more information about what is available in your community.
