PLAYHOUSE

Playhouse team members provide a safe, nurturing and fun space for our youngest members to enjoy while mom and dad are using the facility.  Ideal candidates are friendly, caring and enjoy interacting with young kids in small group settings. 

Duties include working with other Playhouse staff to maintain a safe and clean environment for the participants, strict adherence to all safety protocols, frequent communication with parents, and being a supportive and dependable member of our team.

Morning and evening shifts available. Must be at least 16 years old.

AFTERSCHOOL

The Rowan-Cabarrus YMCA's Youth Development Departments are hiring energetic, outgoing people to work in our before and after-school programs throughout our two counties. Before and Afterschool Counselors are responsible for the daily supervision kids in grades K-5.

Duties include planning and implementing activities for the children, assisting with homework, and providing a safe space for kids at the end of the school day. Candidates must enjoy working with children ages 5-12 and be able to work in multiple settings such as public and private school grounds.

BUS DRIVERS

Our child care departments are seeking highly motivated, dependable, energetic and outgoing team members to work as bus drivers with our Afterschool and camp programs. Hours are Monday-Friday 2-4 pm, with additional hours possible and on days out of school. Candidates must be 21 years of age with a clean driving record. CDLs are not required.
