FLAG FOOTBALL

YMCA flag football is all about having fun and learning football skills in a no-contact setting. Teams are coached and supported by volunteers and YMCA staff with an emphasis on safe play, equal participation and sportsmanship. We work hard to make it a fun and exciting learning experience for all participants!

We offer leagues at our Hurley, Saleeby-Fisher and West Cabarrus branches in the Spring and only at West Cabarrus in the Fall for boys and girls, ages 7-14.

VOLUNTEER COACHING OPPORTUNITIES
We’re seeking volunteers interested in coaching youth sports. Our coaches make YMCA youth sports possible and create a lifelong impact on children by encouraging participation and emphasizing sportsmanship and strong character. When you become a volunteer, the Y will introduce you to coaching and provide specific resources to the sport you coach.  To get involved, contact your local sports director below.
