SUMMER SWIM TEAM
Registration is open to join the Kannapolis Currents Summer Swim Team, based out of the Kannapolis YMCA. The Currents swim team focuses on youth development and improving every child’s swim stroke, aquatics skills and confidence in the water. The Currents compete in the SPSC Aquatics League. The team is lead by qualified coaches and assistant coaches and the YMCA Aquatics Director, Candace Frambs.
AGES
5 to 18 years, as of June 1, 2026
5-8 must be able to swim 1/2 length of pool unassisted.
9-18 must be able to swim full length unassisted.
